Non direi che le carrelli siano uniche. Sono uno dei tanti esemplari di Peter Witt costruite nel mondo...
E come sottolineava Trullo, per il momento nel caso dei trasporti sono entrate nel patrimonio dell'unesco solo infrastrutture.
Tra l'altro prendiamo per esempio la ferrovia del Bernina e dell'Albula. Vediamo i motivi per cui sono state incluse
(ii) to exhibit an important interchange of human values, over a span of time or within a cultural area of the world, on developments in architecture or technology, monumental arts, town-planning or landscape design;
(iv)to be an outstanding example of a type of building, architectural or technological ensemble or landscape which illustrates (a) significant stage(s) in human history;
francamente non vedo proprio come potrebbero le Peter Witt rispettare questi criteri...
Ed inoltre pur essendo nel patrimonio dell'umanità non mi pare che ciò stia impedendo alla ferrovia retica di acquistare gli Allegra e di sostituire ed accantonare le più vecchie ABe 4/4
